7 reasons why you MUST have your own info product
Consider this: What is the number one reason people get online everyday? Simple. To get information. This is so ubiquitous a quest that Google handles 400 million queries a day! So what does this mean to you? Well, this is an opportunity for your to provide what people want – information. And when done correctly, you can get paid for it, too!
Info marketing 101
This is by far the simplest business you can start. You create a product that provides information. And people pay you for the information inside it.. Pretty simple, wouldn’t you say?
But how does it all work?
You’ve got the basic concept – exchange info for money. In order to be successful you’ve got to provide information people want. So step one is to discover what kind of info people want. How do you do that?
One very simple method is to do a little research. Head over to ask.com or Yahoo! answers and see what kinds of questions people are asking. You want to find something a lot of people are asking about. Something that most people don’t already know. And solve the problem for them by writing an info product on it.
Power tip
If you’re concerned about information product development Put it this way: An ebook is nothing more than a collection of articles. Writing a whole ebook can be overwhelming. Focus on one article at a time. And once you have bunch of good ones, flesh them out, add to them and combine them into a single ebook.
So, what’s so great about ebooks? Well, that bring me to the tile of this article Here are the seven reasons
1. Simplicity and ease
An info product business runs on auto-pilot. There is almost no support. Which means there nothing for you to actually *do*. You’re building a completely automated business.
You don’t have any inventory. You never have to deal with shipping. It’s digital.
2. Repackaging
When you have a created a few information products. You can combine them together to create new high ticket products. It’s very easy to package multiple ebooks together as one new one. Then you can sell it for a lot more. Your customers will gladly pay more for a single bigger ebook. Versus multiple smaller ones.
3. Private label right
Since it’s your product, you can offer other people the resale rights. This is a very popular topic right now, because most people simply don’t have the time, money and effort it takes to create their own products. And what’s more you get to charge two to three time as much for these rights.
4. Leverage
Leverage means doing something once and reaping multiple rewards. Use part of it to make an autoresponder series. And build your list with it. A list is it’s own reward!
5. More leverage
Don’t stop there . . . break it into several smaller reports. Then you can use the reports as the front-end of your product funnel. You can give them away or even charge a small amount for them. And it still benefits you because it in a lead-in for the main product. And if you’re really clever, you’ll let your affiliate use these reports as marketing tools. Wait, did I say “affiliates”?
6. An army of affiliates
This is a real power strategy. Once you have your own product. Other people can become your affiliates. How would you like to have an army of affiliates selling your products? You’ve got to have your own products to have affiliates.
7. JVs
OK, this is by far the biggest reason why. The number one way to launch your success is through joint ventures. So, I’d say this is the most important reason to have you own products. Because if you don’t have you own product, you’ve got nothing to JV.
Summing it up
If you don’t want to sell digital products by now, then you’re either crazy or not listening.
You’ll become the ruler of your own fate. Because you’re 100% in control. So, decide to just start:
Don’t make info product creation any more complicated than that. And in no time you’ll have an info product ready to go.
